EXAMINATION IN PHYSIOTHERAPY PRACTICE:
Screening For Medical Disease and Physician Referral
William Boissonnault, author of “Examination in Physical Therapy Practice: Screening for Medical Diseases” and “Primary Care for the Physical Therapist: Examination and triade”, comes to Italy for the second time.

The course is directed towards acquiring the differential diagnosis screening method based on recognizing signs and symptoms that may look as normal musculoskeletal pathologies, but which, in reality, conceal pathologies of a different “nature”.
A correct usage of this differential diagnosis screening method in a physiotherapist’s everyday practice is of fundamental importance, both as a moral responsibility towards the patient, as well as a legal one ( sentenza Corte di Cassazione n° 859/98 )
It is a three-day course, subdivided in a theory part, open to all physiotherapists and 3rd year PT students who wish to attend, which starts on Friday morning and lasts until Saturday 1:00p.m, and a practical part on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning open to only 26 students.
