Normative

The course proposes to offer a competent clinical look on functional screening and manual therapy for the lower extremity. The course will be based on the available scientific evidence found in today’s literature and represents a synthesis of the diagnostic screening process as well as looking into rehabilitation treatments recognized at an international level. The principal characteristic of the course is that it won’t be limited into analysing the single structures (ankle-knee-hip), rather it proposes to understand them as a biomechanical and functional unit (the lower extremity).

The course is subdivided in a theory and a practical part, so as to allow the student to test the knowledge thus acquired. At the end of the course, the student will be able to perform clinical tests, interpret the results, formulate a functional diagnosis and perform a manual treatment.
